Clare Grehofsky

Clare Grehofsky is the Vice President of Continuous Improvement and Advanced Technology at STERIS. In her current role, Clare is responsible for implementing lean fundamentals and applying Advanced Technology across all commercial business units and back-office functions in order to drive improvements in growth, safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Prior to STERIS, Clare spent over 25 years at Danaher in various roles in Continuous Improvement, R and D, Marketing, Operations, Service, and IT. She has extensive experience in acquisition integration and has developed integration programs for both STERIS and Danaher. Clare has a Masters/Bachelors in Physics and a Bachelors in Mathematics. She is also a US Veteran.

John A. Molinari, Ph.D.

 

John A. Molinari, Ph.D.

Dr. John Molinari earned a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Pittsburgh and subsequently worked as a faculty member in the School of Dental Medicine. He is currently Professor Emeritus at the University of Detroit Mercy, where he served for 32 years in the School of Dentistry as Professor and Chairman of the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Director of Infection Control. Later, he was Infection Control Director for DENTAL ADVISOR where he was involved in research on newly developed infection prevention technologies and products. He has published over 500 scientific articles, text chapters, and abstracts in the areas of microbiology and immunology, and lectures nationally and internationally on topics dealing with infectious diseases and infection control. He has also been a consultant for the CDC, ADA, and regional hospitals.

Karen Daw is an award-winning national speaker, author of numerous articles and CE courses on safety in dentistry, Authorized OSHA Trainer and a consultant for practices, corporations, colleges, and healthcare systems across the country. She earned her BA from the Ohio State University and her MBA with concentrations in Healthcare Administration and Business Management. After graduating, Karen was recruited from the Emergency Department to the role of Assistant Director of Sterilization Monitoring and Health and Safety Director for the OSU College of Dentistry. Karen has worked on special projects for the government, is part of the inaugural class to earn their CDIPC credential, and is a proud member of the Organization for Safety Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP), where she also served as co-chair for their Annual Conference and Infection Control Boot Camp.

Kim Grensavitch is a Registered Dental Hygienist with a master’s degree in Health Care Law and has been in the dental field since 1999. She also earned the Dental Infection Prevention and Control Certificate. She served as a regulatory compliance leader for a large accredited dental organization in WI prior to her current role as a Regulatory Compliance Advisor for SKYGEN USA. She is passionate about patient safety and has spoken, and been published, nationally on infection control in dentistry. She is also dedicated to public health and helped start a free dental clinic in her community in 2015 and continues to serve on their Board of Directors. Kim currently serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP).

Linda Harvey began her career in healthcare began as a dental hygienist. Since that time she’s become a nationally recognized dental risk management and regulatory compliance expert. Linda is the founder of the Dental Compliance Institute, an exclusive compliance membership group for DSO/Group and private practices, which also provides train-the-trainer education and compliance certification. DCI compliance coursework has earned the distinction of being Quality Matters™ Certified. Linda has corporate risk management experience and has been recognized as a Distinguished Fellow in the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management. As a veteran dental professional, Linda and her team also provide boutique compliance services practices of all sizes in the areas of infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA as well DEA and Corporate Compliance. The Linda Harvey Group, Inc works onsite and remotely with practices across the country. Linda and her team are firm believers in taking care of those who take care of patients in order to facilitate quality care in a safe and trusted environment.

Lori Paschall is the Eastern Region Manager of Government and Institutions for HuFriedyGroup. Named one of the Top 25 Women in Dentistry 2014 by Dental Products Reports, she is also an Infection Prevention Specialist and a Past President of the American Dental Assistants Association. As a seasoned sales representative and manager in both dealer and manufacturing sales, Lori’s clinical background as a dental assistant for more than 36 years gives her a unique perspective allowing her to assist facilities in implementing systems to improve safety and compliance as well as assessing the current state of dental instruments and equipment so that they can maintain and adopt the highest quality standards.

Mary Govoni

Mary Govoni

Mary Govoni brings over 45 years of experience in dentistry to the team. She is a Certified Dental Assistant, and a Registered Dental Hygienist, with experience in general and specialty practices both clinically and as an administrator. Mary is a former dental assisting educator and was a partner in a successful dental staffing service. For the past 25 years, Mary has focused on speaking and consulting with dental teams on infection prevention, OSHA compliance, HIPAA compliance ergonomics, chairside efficiency and team communication and development. Mary has published numerous articles in professional journals. She is a Past President of the American Dental Assistants Association and serves on the Corporate Council for Dimensions of Dental Hygiene.

Patrick Bernardi is a marketing catalyst with over 20 years of experience guiding transformational improvements in B2B and B2C brand Marketing across a wide variety of industries. In his current role at HuFriedyGroup as Chief marketing Officer and Senior Vice President, Patrick is responsible for directing and managing the global brand marketing function including brand strategy, digital customer engagement, content marketing, distributor demand generation, public relations, CRM and creative services. During his ten-year tenure at HuFriedyGroup, Mr. Bernardi has focused on clarifying and amplifying the HuFriedyGroup brand story, in addition to implementing contemporary marketing approaches design to better align with the mobile and digital expectations of the modern target audiences in the dental segment.

Shari Landes is the Senior Back-Office Compliance Manager for Pacific Dental Services, where she has worked for the past 15 years. She has been in the dental industry for over 40 years as a registered dental assistant, treatment coordinator, back office supervisor, and instructor at a vocational college. Shari is currently a member of OSAP and ADAA, and she has presented engagements with both organizations. Her goal and passion is to do everything possible to create a safe environment for all PDS supported offices and everyone around her, not just for patients but also for every team member.

Tim Twigg is the President and co-owner of Bent Ericksen & Associates. Bent Ericksen & Associates is the leading authority in human resources and personnel management in the healthcare industry, helping dentists successfully deal with the ever-changing and complex labor laws. Tim brings over 35 years of practice management and business consulting experience and knowledge specifically in the healthcare field. Tim’s expertise extends to leadership and business development, strategic planning and marketing, and communication skills, with special emphasis on the “people-side”, human resources, and employment compliance. Tim is a published author and currently co-authors a regular column in Dental Economics entitled: “Staff Issues”. He is part of the management faculty, speakers’ bureau and/or business affiliate for: Seattle Study Club, Jameson Management, and Benco Dental, as well as being an ADA consultant for the ADA’s Council on Dental Practice. Tim is the past president of and a member of the Academy of Dental Management Consultants, a member of the Speaking Consulting Network and a member of the Society for Human Resources Management.
