Hu-Friedy Expands Orthodontic Lingual Collection with New Lingual Debonding Pliers!
Date
CHICAGO (March 1, 2017) – Hu-Friedy, a global leader in the manufacturing of dental instruments and products, announced today the launch of its Lingual Debonding Pliers! The remarkable design allows for quick lingual bracket debonding while ensuring patient comfort is not compromised. Debonding pliers are placed lingually such that one arm of the pliers reaches below the bracket. The arm then hooks under the tie wing of the bracket while the other arm wedges under the bracket’s adhesive interface. When squeezed, the wedged arm slides down the lingual surface of the tooth, successfully removing the bracket.
